ODI victory over a secondary Indian team during the Micromax Cup will boost their moral but it will take some doing to repeat such performances during the WC against the top nations. But the grace of Taylor, Mazakadza, the unorthodox batting of Taibu and Chickumbura together with the world class spin bowling of Ray price might be able to bag some victories during the 2015 WC.
Strengths:
- The ability within the batting unit to play 6under pressure and absorb it successfully. Has the highest Pressure amongst all teams.
- Though a lot of it came against weaker opposition, at least this quality has been demonstrated often by them.
Weaknesses:
- Pretty much everything else, but particularly their Strike Rate, which is the poorest amongst all the teams here.
